The brother of major leaguers Phil Roof and Gene Roof and minor leaguers David Roof and Paul Roof, pitcher Adrian Roof played in the minors in 1955, appearing in 17 games in the Chicago Cubs and St. Louis Cardinals organizations, going 4-3.
In addition to his brothers, Roof's cousin Eddie Haas played and managed in the big leagues, while cousin Lou Haas and nephews Shawn Roof and Eric Roof played minor league ball.
