Adalberto Paulino played seven seasons in the minor leagues.

Paulino signed with the San Francisco Giants in March 2000. He debuted that year with the DSL Giants, hitting .293 with a .361 slugging percentage and 32 RBI. In 2001, he returned to the DSL Giants and batted .245 with 37 runs and 36 RBI. He hit .263/.293/.366 for the 2002 AZL Giants. He fielded .975, leading outfielders in the Arizona League.

Paulino saw limited action for the '03 AZL Giants, hitting .261/.277/.391 in 13 games. In 2004, he batted .176/.222/.412 in 14 games with the Salem-Keizer Volcanoes. The next year, he hit .255/.327/.319 for the Volcanoes. Paulino wrapped up his US career in 2006 with the Augusta GreenJackets, producing at a .304/.371/.393 rate in 21 games. He hit .264 overall in seven years in the minors.

Paulino then signed with the Israel Baseball League's Modi'in Miracle. He hit .370/.446/.840 for the Miracle with 11 homers and 30 RBI in 29 games in 2007.

After the Israel Baseball League folded, the Dominican signed with the Haar Disciples in Germany. He hit .375/.444/.510 with 19 runs in 28 games. He finished 8th in the Bundesliga-1's southern division in average, tied Marvin Appiah for 7th in hits (39), tied for 6th in doubles (9) and was 10th in slugging.
