2023 Central League Rookie of the Year Award

The 2023 Central League Rookie of the Year Award went to Hanshin Tigers ace Shoki Murakami, who was 10-6 with a 1.75 ERA and became the first CL player ever to win the Rookie of the Year and MVP in the same season. He had 285 of 306 votes. Finishing second with 10 was the Hanshin Tigers' outfielder Shota Morishita. Also receiving votes were outfielder Yuto Akihiro of the Yomiuri Giants (6), the Chunichi Dragons' reliever Shinya Matsuyama (2), Hanshin's reliever Takuma Kirishiki (1), Yuya Nirasawa of the Hiroshima Carp (1) and Makoto Kadowaki of Yomiuri (1).
