Biographical Information[edit]
Yuya Nirasawa has played in Nippon Pro Baseball.
Nirasawa represented Japan in the 2019 U-18 Baseball World Cup, hitting .345/.406/.379 and tying for 9th with 8 runs. He was named the All-Star first baseman. [1] He was drafted by the Hiroshima Carp in the fourth round of the 2019 NPB draft, and he was placed in the minors in his first two seasons.[2] After hitting .255 with 4 homers in the minors in 2021, Nirasawa was promoted in 2022, and he was 1-for-10 with the big club. He was 7-for-50 in 2023, but he played well in the ni-gun and won a player of the month award. In the 2023 CLCS Final Stage Game 1, Nirasawa was named their starting first baseman, but he was 0-for-2. That was his only appearances in the playoffs, and the Hanshin Tigers swept them.
