The 2016 Mountain West Conference baseball tournament was held at Santa Ana Star Field in Albuquerque, NM. #2 University of New Mexico defeated #3 University of Nevada, Reno for the title. Colton Thomson and Luis Gonzalez of New Mexico were named tournament co-MVPs.
