From BR Bullpen

The 2001 Holland Series was the 15th Holland Series and the third in a row won by DOOR Neptunus. This time, they beat Mr. Cocker HCAW 3 games to 1. Neptunus head coach Robert Eenhoorn became the second skipper to guide his team to three or more Dutch titles in a row (following Jan Dick Leurs' 4). Eenhoorn retired at the end of the Series to focus on being manager of the Dutch national team.

On September 28, Neptunus romped to a 13-3 win in the opener. Rob Cordemans got the decision, while Jeroen Sluijter had four hits and Harvey Monte 3. Jurjan Koenen had 3 hits for HCAW. Albert van Vuure took the loss.

The next day, Neptunus again scored 13, this time getting a shutout. Australian Tom Becker had the win and Patrick de Lange the loss. On September 30, HCAW won their only game, 8-3. Dave Draijer allowed six hits in the win while Erik Remmerswaal was handed the defeat.

On October 6, Neptunus eked out a 2-0 win as Remmerswaal outdueled de Lange.
