1973 Bolivarian Games
The 1973 Bolivarian Games were held in Panama City, Panama. Colombia won the Gold Medal, a feat they would not repeat until 2017. They were managed by Antonio Torres; players included Abel Leal, Humberto Bayuelo, Luis Gaviria, Erasmo Marimón, René Morelos, Alcibíades Jaramillo, Orlando García, Evaristo Martínez and Orlando Ramírez. Venezuela got the Silver, Panama the Bronze. Roy Blake and Emilio Castro played for Panama.
