Biographical Information[edit]
Zimba Cádiz has played for the Argentinian national team alongside his twin brother Mannuk Cádiz. Their father Mariano Cádiz had also represented Argentina.
He was redshirted as a college freshman then hit .299/.388/.427 with 21 steals in 23 tries in 2023. He tied for 5th in the Great Midwest Athletic Conference in swipes. The next year, he slipped to .250/.354/.296 and went 17-for-18 in steals. In the 2024 South American Championship, he batted second and played DH in their opener against Peru, grounding out against Denilson Santoyo his first time up. Alternating between left field, third base and DH for the champions, he hit .188/.409/.250 with six walks in five games, going 5-for-7 in steal attempts. He fielded .900. He was second in the event in walks, one behind teammate Sebastián García, and led in steals (one ahead of Joaquín Vélez).
