Biographical Information[edit]
Second baseman Mariano Cádiz played for the Argentinian national team numerous times. He appeared in the 1990 Junior Pan American Games, 1992 World Junior Championship, 1995 Pan American Games, 1998 Universiade, 2010 South American Games (when they won Bronze) and the 2010 Pan American Qualifiers (0 for 3). He hit .451 for McKendree College in 1996, ranking 6th in the NAIA. His sons Zimba Cádiz and Mannuk Cádiz debuted for Argentina in 2024.
