Biographical Information[edit]
Yuki Jibiki played for Tokyo Gas in the industrial leagues after college. He played for the Japanese national team in the 2018 Asian Games. Backing up Junya Kino at first base, he was excellent in limited time. His first at-bat, he singled off Muhammad Amjad Aslam. He scored three and fell a double shy of a cycle against Thailand, going 3-for-5, with the long ball coming off Alexander Clark. His last at-bat came against South Korea in the Gold Medal Game, flying out against Woo-ram Jung as a pinch-hitter to end a 3-0 loss, as Japan took Silver. He finished the event 4-for-8 with four runs and nine total bases.
