Biographical Information

Muhammad Amjad Aslam pitched for the Pakistani national team in the 2018 Asian Games. He got into two games. Relieving Tariq Nadeem against eventual Silver Medalist Japan, he pitched the final 2 2/3 IP (8 H, 5 R, 3 BB) in a 15-0 loss. He also appeared against China, relieving Ihsan Ullah in the 5th with a 4-0 deficit. He pitched 2 1/3 innings, giving up 5 hits, a walk and 6 runs (3 earned) while striking out Zhenhong Lu. He was relieved by Inayat Ullah Khan in the 7th of what would be a 16-3, 7-inning mercy rule loss. Only Nadeem finished with a higher ERA than Aslam for the team.
