Biographical Information

Yu-Kuo Peng had a brief career in the CPBL.

Peng coached Taiwan in the 1987 World Junior Championship, and the Brother Elephants signed him when they were founded in 1990. He debuted on March 17 as the pinch-hitter of Pai-Heng Lin, and he became the first pinch-hitter in CPBL history. Peng then collected his first career hit - a solo shot against Feng-Yu Weng of the Mercuries Tigers in the next day. That was the first homer in the Brothers history, and it was also the first solo home run of the CPBL. Peng ended up hitting .164/.194/.213 in 1990, and he was releeased after that season.
