Biographical Information[edit]

Yu-Cheng Hsu played in the CPBL for 3 years.

Hsu was drafted by the Sinon Bulls in the 10th round of the 2010 CPBL Draft, and he hit .271/.332/.347 in the minors in 2011. He recorded a .267/.353/.367 batting line with the big club in 2012, and he was 6-for-15 in 2013. Hsu was then placed in the minors, and he only had 8 more at-bats in the major league in the rest of his career. Although he hit .332/.393/.421 and led the minors in hits in 2016, he still didn't get a chance. Hsu announced his retirement after the 2017 season, and he became a coach for the Fubon Guardians.

Overall, Hsu had hit .302/.362/.358 with 16 hits in 3 seasons in the CPBL.
