Biographical Information[edit]

Yorman Bazardo was signed by scout Miguel Garcia for the Florida Marlins in July 2000. He made his pro debut with Ciudad Alianza the next summer. Yorman made 25 big league appearances between 2005 and 2009, finishing 3-4, 6.86 in 60 1/3 innings of work. He joined Rimini in the Italian Baseball League in May 2013, replacing the ineffective Andrew Baldwin.

Bazardo became a pitching coach with the DSL Pirates 1 in 2018 and the DSL Pirates 2 in 2019. He was slated to work as the GCL Pirates pitching coach in 2020 prior to cancellation of the minor league season due to COVID-19. Bazardo was the pitching coach for the FCL Pirates Black in 2021 and the Bradenton Marauders in 2022. He moved to the San Diego Padres' chain in 2023 as pitching coach of the DSL Padres Gold for the 2023 season.

Bazardo's younger brother, Eduard Bazardo, reached the majors in 2021.
