Biographical Information[edit]
Yong-joo Seo has played in the Korea Baseball Organization and for the South Korea national baseball team.
Seo represented Korea in the 2012 Asian Championship. He was 0-for-1 as the pinch-hitter for Yoon-seok Choi against China, and he went 1-for-3 versus Pakistan. South Korea won Bronze in the event. The KIA Tigers signed him in 2013, and he played four games with the big club in that season. However, he never made another appearance for the major team, and he was released in 2015. Seo later served as assistant coach for Dong-Eui University in 2018, and he started to coach Pohang Jecheol High School in 2020.
