Biographical Information[edit]

Yhostin Chirinos has played in the minors and for the Venezuelan national team.

Chirinos spent time in the Los Angeles Dodgers chain. He hit .266/.382/.407 for the 2018 DSL Dodgers Robinson, with 18 doubles in 52 games and 12 steals in 13 tries. He fielded .921 at short, the position he played the most that year. He tied for third in the Dominican Summer League in two-baggers, behind Freddy De Jesus and Luis Montano. He split '19 between the AZL Dodgers Mota and AZL Dodgers Lasorda, with a combined .273/.343/.335 batting line as his doubles fell to two in 42 games. The 2020 minor league season was wiped out by the COVID-19 pandemic.

In 2021, he was with the ACL Dodgers (.224/.378/.293 in 24 G) and Great Lakes Loons (0 for 13, HBP). His time in the Dodgers system over, he was the starting second sacker for Venezuela in the 2022 Bolivarian Games. His first at-bat, he struck out Dominican national team hurler Alfredo Figaro.
