Biographical Information[edit]
Yeun-hun Kim played for South Korea in the 2005 Baseball World Cup, hitting .280/.357/.360 while manning shortstop (primarily), second base and third base. He struck out in 10 of 25 AB. He had big games offensively in wins over Brazil and Sweden but made two errors to help cost his club the game against Panama. Kim made his Korea Baseball Organization debut in 2007 with the KIA Tigers, going 9 for 61 with 2 triples, 4 walks and 17 strikeouts; he appeared in 52 games, presumably being used as a defensive sub regularly. In 2008, he was 4 for 36 with one walk and no extra-base hits (but cut his strikeout total to 3) while playing for the SK Wyverns.
