Biographical Information

Xin Qi has pitched in China and the US.

Qi played for the Beijing Tigers in the China Baseball League and was on the roster for the Chinese national team that dropped out of the 2017 Asian Championship shortly before the tournament. He was one of the Chinese players on the Texas AirHogs in 2018, going 0-1 with a 2.11 ERA despite a 1.64 WHIP after 21 games. Only Chaoqun Zheng and former major leaguer Carlos Contreras had lower ERAs to that point. He then left to play for China at the 2018 Asian Games.
