Willy Renderos
Willy Renderos played for the Salvadoran national team in the 1970s; he was the brother of teammates Armando Renderos and Mauricio Renderos. [1]
He was with El Salvador for the 1972 Amateur World Series. [2] In the 1974 Central American and Caribbean Games, he was 2-for-12 with a sac fly, two runs and two RBI but managed to go 4-for-4 in steals. He handled nine putouts error-free in center. He tied Jesús Hernández and Pedro Avila for the most swipes in the tourney. [3] He also was with the team for the 1975 Pan American Games. [4]
