Biographical Information[edit]
Armando Renderos played for the Salvadoran national team for about 20 years.
Renderos played for El Salvador in the 1972 Amateur World Series. He hit .158/.200/.158 in the 1974 Central American and Caribbean Games and had one run in 8 games; he played sharply in defense in left (9 PO, 1 A, 0 E). He tied José Patino and Alberto Lois for 3rd in the event in fielding (three outfielders had more chances with also no errors)
In the 1975 Pan American Games, he again represented El Salvador. His biggest international moment came in the 1990 Central American Games when the 40-year-old helped his team win Gold, their only baseball Gold in the Central American Games (through 2018). In El Salvador's domestic leagues, he helped Acero win 7 straight titles.
