Biographical Information[edit]
Willie Hudson, also sometimes called Willie Henry Hudson or Frank Hudson, was a bit player in the Negro Leagues. A pitcher, first baseman and outfielder, he saw little action for the Cincinnati Tigers in 1937, then went 2-0 for the Chicago American Giants in 1940; he remained with the team as a bench player in 1941. Oddly, he made the West team for the 1941 East-West Game. Pinch-hitting for Dan Bankhead in the 7th, he faced Henry McHenry and grounded out to Rabbit Martinez.
