The Complete Book of Baseball's Negro Leagues (ISBN 0803820070) by John Holway is a book on early black baseball and the Negro Leagues. The book is replete with errors and typos, but is the best published source for Negro League standings, rosters and statistics. Additionally, Holway has a comprehensive list of games between white and black teams and includes some details about leagues in Cuba, Puerto Rico, Mexico and elsewhere where Negro League stars appeared.
