Hi Anthony, The 1909 managers of the Minnesota-Wisconsin league were correct as of the 3rd edition of the Encyclopedia of Minor League Baseball. I believe the ones you added back in may have been listed in the 2nd edition, but corrected in the 3rd. If you have newer information, all is well. --Cmcgill (talk) 14:01, 20 January 2014 (EST)

Minnesota-Wisconsin League[edit]

I recently submitted an article to Zenithcity.com about the 1909 Superior Drillers season. Lew Drill was the manager. There was no mention of the club being called the Blues... I also uncovered an article stating the 1909 Wausau Lumberjacks manager was Jack McCarthy, not Joe McCarthy.

Sounds good. You should probably include your note above on the discussion page for the league. Also, you can use the next-to-last icon on the edit bar above to "sign" your entries on the discussion pages. It adds the timestamp along with your username. --Cmcgill (talk) 10:33, 22 January 2014 (EST)

One note - remember to add categories to each page. Ex. for Jason Malec: {{DEFAULTSORT:Malec,Jason}} [[Category:Minor League Players]] [[Category:College Football]] [[Category:Baseball Families]] [[Category:Births in 1962]]

I added for some of the pages you've made - Mischa (talk) 16:08, 11 July 2022 (UTC)

When listing alumni for either a high school or college, there is a standard format, which doesn't include in what round or by what team a person was drafted. This can be added to the person's page. We normally only list those persons for whom we already have a page for the bullpen, but for small schools like the ones you've been working on, it's all right to have a few red links. Note that here "college coach" means head coach only - assistant coaches are not considered notable unless they have some other claim to fame (for example, if they played professionally). A slight caveat to what Philippe said - if you plan on filling in the red links (as you did with Proctor HS), go ahead and add them as they won't stay red for long. Thanks for all your contributions! - Mischa (talk) 12:27, 15 July 2022 (UTC)
