1912 Ohio-Pennsylvania League: I show Steubenville as a separate entity moving TO Follansbee. I don't not show them as a joined franchise. 1st season (5/15 to 7/5) Steubenville 28-26, second season (7/5 to 7/15) Steubenville 5-5, third season (7/16 to Aug 6) Steubenville ?? Follansbee ??.

They were a combined team. Steubenville was "blacklisted" by the National Commission due to non-payment for the beginning of the 1912 season. Early season games were played in Follansbee. Weekday games were played in Follansbee and Sunday exhibitions were played in Steubenville. - --Jackmo77 (talk) 12:49, 8 February 2017 (EST)

Typing in something like [[Campeche]] does not yield a valid link - please use full team names - ex. Piratas de Campeche - --Mischa (talk) 16:49, 16 April 2015 (EDT)

When a ballpark (major or minor league) changes names because of a sale of naming rights, you should either move the page to the new name, or create a redirect from the new name to the better known name. The latter can be a better solution if a park continually changes names, but is generally beter known by its generic name such as the Oakland Coliseum. In any case, there should not be two different pages for the same ballpark. --Philippe (talk) 04:23, 25 August 2015 (EDT)

Please do not put additional dates or asterisks instead the brackets - you should type [[Roberto Mendez]] (5/27), not [[Roberto Mendez (5/27)]] - --Mischa (talk) 09:22, 4 August 2016 (EDT)

Here is a very short example of my listing, just an example: Albany, GA 1927 Southeastern D 69 81 .460 6 Sumter Clarke

Until I get my book together, nicknames are not included.

A few comments on your recent edits (Nov. 19/20):

  • "Teams that have played here" is a second-level section (i.e., use == Teams that have played here == and not === Teams that have played here ===).
  • Dates of managerial changes should be in the manager's table, not in the team table, which only includes the record under different managers in brackets.
  • Don't create team names with idiosyncratic abbreviations like [[Connersville no nn]] as these make no sense to anyone else.
  • You are contributing to a project that many people have worked on for over a decade and for which standards have been developed. Your edits are welcome, but quality insurance is important. --Philippe (talk) 07:46, 20 November 2016 (EST)
