Biographical Information[edit]

Ubaid Ullah was the right fielder for the Pakistani national team in the 2015 Asian Championship. He was 5 for 5 with four of their seven runs in their opening win over Indonesia but was 1 for 12 with a walk in the next four games. No other Pakistani player finished with multiple runs. He still led Pakistan in average, hits and runs as they did not score in their final four contests. He had 7 putouts, two assists and an error in the field.

In the 2017 World Baseball Classic Qualifiers, he started in right field against Brazil, grounding out and striking out against Jean Tomé before being replaced by Adnan Butt. Replacing Butt in RF versus Great Britain, he grounded out against Cody Chartrand in his lone at-bat. He starred for Pakistan in the 2017 Asian Championship, hitting .444/.500/.444 with two runs and two RBI in three games. He stole two bases in four tries and had two putouts in the field. He led Pakistan in average (.027 ahead of Umair Imdad Bhatti and Arsalan Jamashaid) and OBP (.038 ahead of Jamashaid).
