Biographical Information

Tyler Croft has played for the South African national team.

He hit .263/.391/.421 as their main left fielder in the 2018 U-23 Baseball World Cup. In the 2019 Africa Cup Baseball Championship, he played regularly in right for the champs, hitting .286/.561/.286 with 6 walks and 7 runs in 4 games. He tied for 10th in the high-scoring event in runs (with Lassino Sanfo, Junior Zabre, Isaac Odongo and Daniel Alio) and tied Zabre for 2nd in walks (one behind Hamidou Kafando). South Africa advanced to the 2019 Europe/Africa Olympic Qualifier but he was not with them for that event.
