Biographical Information[edit]
Junior Zabré has played for Burkina Faso in international competition.
He was the second player from Burkina Faso to play pro ball in Japan, after Lassina Sanfo. [1] In the 2019 Africa Cup Baseball Championship, Burkina Faso's first major tourney, he played all three outfield spots as well as first base. He hit .375/.545/.500 with 6 walks and 7 runs in 5 games, going 6-for-7 in steal attempts. He tied for 10th in the event in runs (with Daniel Alio, Tyler Croft, Isaac Odongo and Sanfo), tied Croft for 2nd in walks (one behind Hamidou Kafando) and was 2nd in steals (one behind Emmanuel Moyo).
