Biographical Information[edit]
Tsung-Yi Lin played in the Chinese Professional Baseball League then became a coach.
Lin was a third-round pick of the President Lions in the 2002 CPBL Draft. He hit .133/.161/.167 in 34 plate appearances over 31 games in 2002 and .211/.318/.211 in 22 plate appearances (23 games) in 2003 for his pro career. He had hit .163/.226/.184 with 7 runs and one RBI in 56 plate appearances and 54 games. He fielded .861 in 32 games at SS, 13 at 2B and 2 at 3B, with more errors (11) than hits (8).
He became a coach with the National Taiwan College of Physical Education in 2005. He coached for the Taiwanese national team in the 2008 Haarlem Baseball Week, 2008 World University Championship, 2011 World Port Tournament, 2011 Baseball World Cup, 2012 Haarlem Baseball Week, 2013 World Port Tournament, 2013 East Asian Games, 2014 Haarlem Baseball Week, 2014 Asian Games, 2015 Universiade, 2015 World Port Tournament, 2015 Asian Championship and 2017 Asian Championship.
