Biographical Information[edit]

First baseman Trent Lockwood played professionally from 2008 to 2012, spending most of his career in independent baseball. He hit .200 in 25 at-bats between the Bay Area Toros and El Paso Diablos in 2008, then played for the Amarillo Dillas of the United League in 2009. He also spent time with the Lake County Black Bears of the Florida Winter Baseball League that year. On October 5, he signed with the New York Yankees and spent 2010 with the Tampa Yankees, hitting .257/.334/.356 with 4 home runs and 37 RBI in 86 games. He returned to indy ball for 2011, playing in the American Association that year and in 2012. In 2011, he hit .338/.447/.619 with 20 home runs, 37 doubles and 90 RBI in 99 games to earn league All-Star honors. In 2012, he hit .274/.382/.485 with 15 home runs and 64 RBI in 97 games to wrap up his career.
