Biographical Information[edit]
Toshio Ito served in the Japanese military during World War II then played for Dai Nihon Doboku in the industrial leagues. An outfielder, he played for the Kintetsu Pearls (1950-1951) and Hankyu Braves (1952) of Nippon Professional Baseball. In 120 games, he batted .249/.311/.322 with one home run and 23 RBI. He coached for Gifu High School.
