Biographical Information[edit]

Terry Craft was a major league umpire.

Craft worked in the 1979 Appalachian League, 1980 South Atlantic League, 1981-1982 Carolina League, 1983-1984 Southern League, 1985 International League, 1986 Dominican Winter League and 1986 International League. He then became a major league umpire, umpiring his first American League game in 1987. However, it took him until 1992 to become a full-time major league umpire. He worked no-hitters by Dave Stewart and Jim Abbott as well as the 1997 All-Star Game. He moved over to the consolidated major league umpiring staff in 2000 and retired during the 2006 season. He worlked a total of 1734 games.

Craft was also a member of the US military.
