For his career, Terashi was 35-49 with 7 saves and a 4.36 ERA in 320 appearances for Chunichi. The former outfielder hit .230/.243/.362 with 4 home runs in 213 AB, not bad offense for a pitcher. He is the father of Naomichi Donoue and Takehiro Donoue; they became the first NPB family to have a father and two sons all hit home runs. He and Takehiro became the first NPB father-son combo to both play in the Japan Series.
