- 1961 - Ryne Duren strikes out seven batters in a row, a new American League record.
- 1966 - Rich Rollins, Zoilo Versalles (pictured), Tony Oliva, Don Mincher and Harmon Killebrew give the Twins the first five-home run inning in major league history.
- 1972 - Fumio Narita hits his second career grand slam, the first pitcher to have done so in NPB history.
- 2007 - Jun-hyuk Yang collects his 2,000th hit. No prior Korea Baseball Organization player had reached that mark.
