- 2000 - Carlton Fisk (pictured) and Tony Perez are elected to the Hall of Fame.
- 2002 - Stolen base king Yutaka Fukumoto, Keishi Suzuki and Lefty O'Doul are among the individuals chosen to join the Japanese Baseball Hall of Fame.
