- 1963 - Rico Carty (pictured) homers twice in one at-bat for the Yakima Bears. The first home run had been rescinded as time had been called before he hit it.

After rallying from a 7-2 deficit in the 8th to force extra innings, they see Chicago score five more in the 11th, highlighted by Andre Dawson's grand slam, but fight back against Heathcliff Slocumb and ex-Pirate Mike Bielecki. Don Slaught delivers the winning double in the 13-12 win.
- 1994 - For the 11th time in his career, Eddie Murray homers from both sides of the plate in a game. This breaks Mickey Mantle's record for number of times the feat had been accomplished.
- 1995 - Koji Noda of the Orix BlueWave sets a Nippon Pro Baseball record by striking out 19 batters in a no-decision against the Chiba Lotte Marines.
