Biographical Information[edit]

Outfielder Taylor Zeutenhorst was drafted by the Philadelphia Phillies in the 41st round of the 2010 Amateur Draft from Sheldon High School, and by the Seattle Mariners in the 38th round of the 2014 Amateur Draft from the University of Iowa.

At Iowa, Zeuntenhorst hit .256 with 9 home runs with 50 runs driven in 93 games played for the Hawkeyes.

In 2014, he played for the Pulaski Mariners. In 2015, Zeuntenhorst spent time with the Bakersfield Blaze, Clinton LumberKings and Everett AquaSox. Over his 130 games in the Mariners' system, Zeutenhorst hit .203 with 5 home runs, 35 runs batted in, and 50 runs scored.

In 2016, Zeutenhorst joined the Sioux Falls Canaries of the American Association. He also spent time in the Pecos League and Pacific Association

On August 14, 2019 the Salina Stockade announced that player-manager Chuck Rocker had been traded to the San Rafael Pacifics for future considerations and that Taylor Zeutenhorst would act as player-manager for the remainder of the season.
