65th all-time in OBP and merely "decent" except for two years? - --Mischa 16:46, 25 September 2006 (EDT)
His Adjusted OPS+ is pretty unimpressive except for the two years. Other than those two years, he only once had an OPS+ over 140 (and that one time his OPS+ was not in the top 5 in the league). To me, a guy that gets a bunch of 115's, 125's, and 135's is good but not great. How would you describe it? I chose "decent and above-average". But those other two years, when his OPS+ was 185 and then 163, those were flat-out impressive. - Randy 17:04 25 September 2006
