Talk:Des Moines Demons
I've referred to Steinbacher-Kamp's Three-I League site for years but it hasn't been updated since 2003. Is there any danger of it vanishing due to non-maintenance? If so, would it be a good idea for someone to set up a shadow site? - --Mischa 11:18, 2 Apr 2006 (EDT)
This article lists a "Jim A. Grant." According to BR Minors, there have been no Jim A. or James A. Grants in pro history. The main site lists major leaguer Jim Grant as the pitcher in question. Is that accurate? Alex (talk) 13:53, 29 April 2015 (EDT)
He's the one listed in the BR Minors page, and the dates match. The middle initial must be a mistake. --Philippe (talk) 15:57, 29 April 2015 (EDT)
I was going off the Pat Doyle database when I wrote the article and he lists a Jim A. Grant in the minors from 1926-1940 as distinct from the major leaguer Jim Grant. - --Mischa (talk) 08:25, 15 May 2015 (EDT)
