A person named Daniel "Bud" Hafey was chief probation officer in Sierra County, CA for a time in the 1970s and 1980s. Could that be this Bud Hafey, who died in Sacramento? Randy (talk) 01:30, 20 October 2020 (UTC)

The name is specific enough that it could well be him, and the dates coincide too. I haven't found any evidence of anyone else using that particular name combination, so that makes it even more likely. We would need to find an obituary to confirm this, but I guess you could not locate one online either. Philippe (talk) 17:18, 20 October 2020 (UTC)
