Talk:1956 Hall of Fame Election

I see it's the Veterans Committee who elected the two. We would still need a page, however. Same for 1944 and 1961, where there was no BBWAA election, but others were added by the Veterans Committee. --Philippe (talk) 14:50, 5 February 2018 (UTC)

I'm not sure if the Veterans Committee ever released detailed results of its deliberations. The page would have to be limited to stating that there was no BBWAA vote that year, but list the persons selected by the Veterans committee. --Philippe (talk) 20:41, 5 February 2018 (UTC)

I did a real quick search on newspapers.com and all I found was the announcement of the two names. No other real information. I was hoping to find the results of the writers' vote.
