Biographical Information[edit]
Takumi Harada was a LF/3B/1B for the Japanese national team in the 2015 Asian Championship. He was 6 for 13 with a triple, three runs, five RBI and a walk and had 3 putouts in the field. Starting the event as a backup, he was a starter for the final three games as Japan finished third. His big hit was a bases-clearing triple off Indonesia's Ahmed Effendy. He tied Kimio Watanabe for second on Japan in RBI, one behind Takuya Kinoshita and he tied Watanabe, Yohei Kawato and Toshiyuki Hayashi for the team hit lead.
