Biographical Information[edit]
Takuya Kinoshita is a catcher.
Kinoshita caught for Toyota in the industrial leagues after college. He was the starting catcher for the Japanese national team that finished third in the 2015 Asian Championship, going 5 for 12 with a double, two runs and six RBI while playing error-free ball. He led the team in RBI, one over Takumi Harada and Kimio Watanabe. The Chunichi Dragons then took him in the third round of the 2015 NPB draft, the third catcher taken after Seishiro Sakamoto (round two, Hanshin) and Kenta Tanigawara (round 3, Softbank).
