Biographical Information[edit]
Ta-Chuan Kuan is a member of the Taiwan Baseball Hall of Fame.
He was on the Taiwanese national team that won Bronze in both the 1962 Asian Championship and 1963 Asian Championship. Kuan also represented Taiwan in the 1959 Asian Championship, 1965 Asian Championship and 1967 Asian Championship. He blasted a tournament-leading 3 dingers in the 1965 Asian Championship. After retiring from the national team, Kuan became a college coach, and coached the Chinese Culture University from 1977 to 1978. In December 2022, he was voted into the Taiwan Baseball Hall of Fame alongside Chin-Feng Chen and Harvey Tung.
