Biographical Information[edit]

Seung-kyu Lee has played in the Korea Baseball Organization.

Lee played for the South Korean national team in the 2013 East Asian Games, when they won the Silver Medal. He also appeared in the 2015 Universiade, taking the Bronze this time. He was picked by the Samsung Lions in the 7th round of the 2016 KBO draft and went 1 for 4 with two runs for the team in the 2016 KBO. In 2017, he hit only .118/.211/.118 in 15 games.

In the 2017 Asian Championship, he hit an impressive .571/.563/.714 with six runs in five games but fielded only .778 with four errors. In the Bronze Medal Game, he started at short and hit 7th, going 2 for 2 with a walk and two runs while handling one putout, three assists and one error before being replaced by Seung-min Choi in the field and Ji-kyu Park in the lineup in a 15-0 rout of the Philippines.

In 2018, he was with the military police team.
