Biographical Information[edit]

Stefan Hagenah played in the Bundesliga and for the German national team.

In the 1993 European Championship, he represented Germany. He debuted against Italy, replacing Oliver Fimmers in left and singling off Mariano Marchini. He hit .179/.233/.179 with 5 runs in 8 games and fielded .909, playing both outfield and shortstop. [1] Bundesliga-1 stats are first available online (as of 5/8/2024) for 1994, when he batted .341/.482/.518 with 26 runs for the Hamburg Marines. He tied for 8th in the Bundesliga-1 north with 19 walks. [2] In '95, he was at .442/.549/.623 with 29 runs for the Hamburg Knights. He was 5th in average (between Wilgen Reyes and Mathias Winterrath), 9th in RBI (23), 8th in hits (34), tied for 8th in doubles (9), 6th in slugging, 3rd in OBP, 6th in OPS, 10th in assists (46) and tied for 6th in errors (16). He hit .367/.466/.531 with 36 runs for the 1996 Lokstedt Stealers. He was among the leaders in hits (36, 5th), doubles (11, tied for 5th), runs (tied for 3rd), HBP (5, tied for 5th), putouts (151, tied for 4th) and fielding (.983, 5th). [4] In '97, he was at .338/.432/.426 and was tenth in putouts (103). [5]
