St. Joseph Auscos
The St. Joseph AUSCOS were a semipro baseball team that played from 1940 to 1957. They were owned by the Auto Specialties Company (AUSCO) of St. Joseph, MI and played their home games at Edgewater Park, which was located on the factory grounds.
In 1946 the Auscos won the National Semipro Championship in Wichita, KS beating the Carmichael Firemen (CA) in the final. It was their only National Baseball Congress championship. During the 1946 tournament they were named the Autos.
