Song Pingshan (宋平山)

Biographical Information

Song Pingshan has been a long-time manager in China. Song played for a team in Beijing from 1975-1982 then managed them from 1983-1986 and another team from 1987-1991. He guided the Chinese national team in the 1993 Asian Championship, 1994 Asian Games, 1995 Asian Championship, 1997 Asian Championship, 2002 Asian Games and 2014 Asian Games and coached for them in the 1998 Baseball World Cup and 2015 Asian Championship. He managed the Beijing Tigers in the China Baseball League in 2006 and again from 2009- .
