Biographical Information[edit]
Sirapat Kasornsuwan was on the first Thai women's national baseball team, having previously represented them in softball. [1] In the 2023 Women's Baseball Asian Cup, she was their starting pitcher in their debut in baseball. She allowed three hits, four walks and six runs (four earned) in three innings; the tournament page originally listed her as losing to Reshma Shivaji Punekar while the final report lists the loss as going to her reliever, Sudarat Wiangkhamfa. She did get their first win, beating Nur Afrina Azman Ali of fellow newcomer Malaysia; she threw five shutout innings of relief that day. Kasornsuwan was among the opening round leaders in ERA (3rd, behind Ni Putu Radh Putri and Sadia Bibi), IP (4th, between Harshika Privadarshani Kahennalage and Putri) and K (5, 5th). She also was 3-for-7 with two runs and two RBI. [2]
