Sergio de la Hoz

Infielder Sergio de la Hoz played for the Dominican national team in the 1973 Amateur World Series. In the 1974 Central American and Caribbean Games, his .355 average ranked third on the Silver Medal-winning Dominicans behind Alberto Lois and Jose Guerrero. He was 7th in average for the event; he had a .417 OBP and .419 slugging percentage. He fielded .961 at first base. He remained with the Dominicans in the 1975 Pan American Games.
