Biographical Information[edit]
Seiichi Suzuki played in Nippon Pro Baseball for 3 years.
Suzuki was signed by the Senators club in 1946, and he hit .252/.334/.412 with 5 homers and 63 errors. He set the JPBL league with 14 triples, and he held the record until it split between two leagues in 1950. Suzuki slumped to .200/.280/.274 in 1947, and he committed 59 errors. He was released after the 1947 season, and the Kinsei Stars signed him. However, he only played 5 games in 1948 then he announced his retirement.
Overall, Suzuki hit .225/.307/.340 with 167 hits and 19 triples in 3 years in NPB.
